What the Data Shows
Eleven Australian agricultural commodity groups are compared by their rounded 2025–26 export-value outlook. The selected groups use one March 2026 forecast vintage and current Australian dollars, but they are not the complete agricultural export universe. Beef and live cattle is the largest selected group at about A$19.9 billion, followed by wheat at about A$9.9 billion. Values use sensible precision because the public outlook provides rounded figures and percentage changes rather than audited trade totals.

Data notes & caveats
The selected groups do not cover the full agricultural export universe. Values are rounded outlook figures and should not be treated as audited trade totals.
Methodology
The 2025–26 values use the public March 2026 ABARES outlook’s rounded figures and stated percentage changes, with results presented to sensible precision. The ranking is limited to the 11 commodity groups that can be quantified consistently from that release.
Source consistency notes
Every row uses the same ABARES March 2026 outlook, the same 2025–26 period, current Australian dollars and the same rounded-value basis.
