What the Data Shows

Afghanistan’s purchasing-power-adjusted GDP per person rose from 2023 to 2024. The value increased from PPP$2,203.54 to PPP$2,236.20. The gain was PPP$32.66, or 1.5%. The measure combines national output, price-level adjustment and population.

The two World Bank WDI values use current international dollars per person. Absolute and relative changes use the unrounded 2023 and 2024 endpoints.
