AI-related cybercrime complaints are measured using the FBI IC3 2025 Annual Report for United States complaint records. The ranked rows use the AI References by Complaint Count categories, while support metrics include the overall AI-related complaint and loss totals. Investment was the largest AI-reference category with 4,356 complaints, 5.71 times the fifth-ranked harassment or stalking category. IC3 recorded 22,364 AI-related complaints and US$893.3 million in adjusted losses, but the data depend on what victims report.
