Data notes & caveats
Company financial values and national GDP values are different accounting concepts. The graphic is a scale benchmark in current US$ billions, not a statement that revenue, net income or buybacks equal GDP. IMF GDP rows use the April 2026 World Economic Outlook vintage and can change in later IMF releases.
Methodology
Company values come from the cited annual report, SEC filing or exchange issuer disclosure. GDP benchmark rows come from the IMF April 2026 World Economic Outlook current-price GDP series. All displayed values are current US$ billions, and bars are sorted from largest to smallest. No selected-set share or world-share denominator is used.
Source consistency notes
The company row and GDP rows come from different source families by design. The comparison is kept in one unit, current US$ billions, and is labelled as a company-to-GDP benchmark. No row share is calculated because there is no true common denominator.
