What the Data Shows
Armenia’s registered homicide rate was 2.0 per 100,000 people in 2024, compared with 1.7 in 2015. The series ranged from a low of 1.2 in 2018 to a high of 2.2 in 2016. The endpoint increase was 0.3 homicide per 100,000, while year-to-year movements remained small in absolute terms. The measure reflects registered murders under the national definition and should not be broadened to all violent deaths.
