What the Data Shows
Mobile-phone ownership in Armenia increased from 68.2% of individuals in 2017 to 84.9% in 2024. The eight annual observations show a temporary decline from 80.7% in 2020 to 78.3% in 2021 before growth resumed. The endpoint increase was 16.7 percentage points, equivalent to about 24.5% relative to 2017. The statistic measures individual ownership and should not be confused with the number of mobile subscriptions.
