What the Data Shows

Cambodia’s 2023 agriculture census measures cashew holdings, planted and harvested area, yield and leading producing provinces. About 153,300 households grew cashew across 370,000 planted hectares. Around 340,000 hectares were harvested at an average yield of 2.9 tonnes per hectare. Ratanak Kiri, Kratie and Kampong Thom together accounted for 215,700 hectares, or 58.3% of national planted area.
