What the Data Shows

Cambodia’s 2023 household survey records the first provider used by people who sought health care. The private medical sector was the first provider for 79.6% of care seekers. The public sector accounted for 13.9%, making the private share 5.73 times larger. Non-medical, overseas and other providers made up the remaining 6.5%.
