Data notes & caveats
Domestic tourism covers trips within mainland China. The annual communiqué figures are preliminary, and rounded subentries may not add exactly to the headline total.
Methodology
Residence-group expenditure is divided by the official national total to calculate shares, while source precision is retained.
Source consistency notes
Both residence groups and the denominator use one official release, one year, one currency and one expenditure definition.
