What the Data Shows
Equipment manufacturing accounted for 36.8 percent of value added among China’s industrial enterprises above the designated size in 2025. High-tech manufacturing accounted for 17.1 percent, while digital-product manufacturing accounted for 12.5 percent. Each percentage uses the same broad industrial-value-added denominator. The classifications can overlap, so their values must not be added or presented as a three-part composition.

Source consistency notes
All three percentages use the same NBS communiqué, year and denominator universe.
