What the Data Shows
Cyprus’s current account deficit narrowed from €2.85 billion in 2024 to €2.34 billion in 2025. As a share of GDP, the deficit improved from 8.2% to 6.4%. The SPE-adjusted deficit also narrowed, from €2.93 billion to €2.68 billion. All balances retain their negative signs because they are deficits, and the 2025 figures are provisional.
