What the Data Shows
Cyprus year-on-year real GDP growth rose from 3.3% in the first quarter of 2025 to 4.5% in the fourth. Quarter-on-quarter growth remained positive in every quarter and peaked at 1.4% in Q4. The year-on-year rate accelerated by 1.2 percentage points from Q1 to Q4. The series uses the latest Q4 release vintage, which revised earlier-quarter values from earlier official releases.

These are quarterly growth rates, not annual GDP growth. The 2025 quarterly series remains provisional.
Methodology
Uses seasonally and working-day adjusted quarterly national accounts. Q1–Q3 are taken from the Q4 flash table’s revised historical path; Q4 is confirmed by the later regular Q4 release.
