Data notes & caveats

The 2024 observation is the endpoint of this CAPMAS series. A separately reported 2025 health-sector estimate is excluded to preserve one source family.

Methodology

Five CAPMAS fertility observations retain their published years. The measure is a period total fertility rate rather than the completed family size of a single birth cohort.

Source consistency notes

All five values use the same children-per-woman metric within the CAPMAS source family.
