Data notes & caveats
Unemployment is the share of the labour force without work and actively seeking or available for work under the survey definition; it is not the share of the whole population.
Methodology
The three annual unemployment rates use the CAPMAS Labour Force Survey. The second-quarter 2025 rate is a separate quarterly benchmark and is not inserted into the annual sequence.
Source consistency notes
The annual rates use one CAPMAS Labour Force Survey source family and a common labour-force denominator. The quarterly benchmark is separately labelled.
