Each rate divides households classified as having improved drinking water by the same area’s total households. Islamabad and Punjab were effectively tied at 96.6% after rounding, with Islamabad marginally higher on the unrounded rate. Balochistan recorded the lowest coverage at 71.4%, a 25.2 percentage-point range.
