Data notes & caveats
Production quantity refers to physical crop output in tonnes. No concentration metrics are included because a clean same-source total was not supplied. Nation wording is used because the commodity reporting frame may include aggregate or non-sovereign reporting units.
Methodology
Rows are ordered by raw production quantity. Tonnes are converted to million tonnes for the leaderboard visual, while raw tonnes remain in row metadata. Gap and rank-multiple support values are computed from the same row values.
Source consistency notes
Rows use one FAOSTAT-attributed table, one year and one unit.
