What the Data Shows
Fifteen nations are compared by the largest absolute changes in young women’s NEET rates between 2015 and 2025. Each row retains the rate for women ages 15–24 at both endpoints and reports the signed change in percentage points. Bangladesh records the largest movement, a 26.7-point decline from 46.8% to 20.1%. Afghanistan has the largest increase, rising 16.6 points from 67.4% to 84.1%.

Data notes & caveats
ILOSTAT modelled estimates are harmonised for international comparison and may be revised. Positive changes mean the rate was higher at the end of the period; negative changes mean it was lower.
Methodology
The comparison pairs 2015 and 2025 observations for the same eligible nations, calculates the signed change in young women’s NEET rate, and ranks the rows by absolute movement.
Source consistency notes
Every endpoint uses the same ILOSTAT indicator, demographic definition, percentage basis and matched-entity comparison in 2015 and 2025.
