Fifteen nations are ranked by the largest absolute youth-adult working-poverty gap in 2023. The comparison retains the Youth aged 15–24 and Adults aged 25+ rates and the signed percentage-point difference for each nation. Laos has the largest gap at 17.9 pp, with Youth aged 15–24 at 27.1% and Adults aged 25+ at 9.3%. Papua New Guinea ranks second with an absolute gap of 16 pp.

Evidence: Supports both comparison rates and the resulting percentage-point gaps for the fifteen selected nations.
The rates are ILOSTAT modelled estimates and may be revised. A positive signed gap means the first group has the higher rate; a negative gap means the second group has the higher rate.
For each nation, the two 2023 rates are compared and rank is determined by the absolute percentage-point difference. The signed difference equals Youth aged 15–24 minus Adults aged 25+.
Every comparison uses the same ILOSTAT source family, period, population definitions and percentage-rate unit.
