Units: percent of employed people
Date checked: 2026-07-15
Evidence: Supports both component rates and the resulting percentage-point gaps for the 15 final nations.
Data notes & caveats
Each component rate is the share of employed people ages 15–24 of the stated sex living below US$3 PPP per day. The signed gap is men minus women. ILOSTAT classifies the observations as estimates.
Methodology
The comparison joins the paired component observations for the same sovereign nations in 2023, computes the signed difference and ranks the 15 largest absolute gaps. Aggregate reporting groups and incomplete pairs are excluded.
Source consistency notes
Every row uses the same ILO source family, 2023 period, age classification and percentage basis for both component rates.
