The percentage is the share of surveyed children aged 6–59 months classified as anaemic. Kerala recorded the lowest prevalence at 39.4%, followed by Andaman and Nicobar Islands at 40.0%. Chandigarh ranked ninth-lowest at 54.6%, a 15.2-percentage-point range from the first value.
