What the Data Shows
The number of marriages in Cyprus fell from 11,766 in 2023 to 10,334 in 2024. That was a decline of 1,432 marriages, or 12.2%. CYSTAT identified 5,709 resident marriages in 2024, equal to 55.2% of the total. The resident-marriage figure is a subset and should not be added to the overall total.
