The 17 signed values come from consecutive final month-end balances and are measured in US$ billions. The largest increase was +10.12B in May 2025. The largest decline was −8.60B in Mar 2026, followed by a −7.92B change in June 2026.

Positive values indicate an increase in the reserve balance and negative values indicate a decrease. The changes do not isolate valuation effects from transactions.
Each final month-end reserve balance was subtracted from the following month’s balance. The 17 signed changes are retained in chronological order without smoothing.
Every change uses consecutive observations from the same official reserve series and US-dollar basis.
