What the Data Shows

Named Norwegian railway lines are ranked by passenger journeys in 2025. The ranking excludes system-wide and service-category totals to avoid overlapping routes. Oslo local trains led with 43.9 million passengers. The Oslo–Skien InterCity route ranked second with 8.2 million, followed by Oslo–Lillehammer with 6.5 million.
