What the Data Shows
Portugal’s annual inflation rate is tracked from 2015 through 2024 using the harmonised consumer-price index. The measure is the annual-average percentage change in all-items consumer prices. Inflation peaked at 8.1% in 2022 and eased to 2.7% in 2024. The lowest annual reading was −0.1% in 2020.
