What the Data Shows
Romania’s general government final consumption share is compared between 2023 and 2024. Each value measures government consumption expenditure relative to GDP. The share rose from 17.2% to 18.5%, an increase of 1.3 percentage points. The 2024 ratio was about 7.6% above the 2023 level.

The two Romania observations for 2023–2024 use one official World Bank World Development Indicators measure and the same unit. The signed change is the end value minus the start value.
