What the Data Shows
Romania’s real household consumption per person is compared between 2023 and 2024. The measure uses constant 2015 US dollars per person, so it adjusts for inflation. Consumption rose from US$8,520 to US$9,011, an increase of US$491 per person. The increase was 5.8% over the year.

Methodology
The two Romania observations for 2023–2024 use one official World Bank World Development Indicators measure and the same unit. The signed change is the end value minus the start value.
