What the Data Shows

Inflation rises from 8.4% in 2024 to 8.7% in 2025. The increase is 0.3 percentage points, and the 2025 observation remains an estimate subject to revision.

Data notes & caveats
The values are annual consumer-price inflation rates. They are estimates and may be revised in later World Bank releases.
Methodology
The two annual WDI inflation rates are compared directly, and the 2025 value minus the 2024 value gives the percentage-point change.
Source consistency notes
Both endpoints use the same WDI indicator, national scope and annual-percent basis.
