Data notes & caveats
Gross savings is a broad national-accounts measure and should not be interpreted as household saving alone. Each percentage uses GDP as the denominator.
Methodology
The same WDI gross-savings-to-GDP indicator is compared across 2023 and 2024; the later percentage minus the earlier percentage gives the change.
Source consistency notes
Both values use one WDI indicator, annual frequency and percent-of-GDP basis.
