What the Data Shows
Taiwan’s official foreign-exchange reserves are tracked monthly from January 2025 through June 2026. The series contains 18 final month-end balances measured in US$ billions. Reserves reached a period high of US$605.49B in Feb 2026. The June 2026 balance was US$597.15B, US$19.57B above January 2025 but US$8.34B below the high.

Foreign-exchange reserves are a stock measured at month-end. Movements can reflect valuation changes as well as transactions and investment income.
Methodology
The official month-end foreign-exchange reserve balance is retained for every month from January 2025 through June 2026. Changes use the unrounded published balances.
Source consistency notes
All 18 values use the same central-bank reserve definition, month-end timing and US-dollar basis.
