The four UK countries are compared by growth of the population aged 65 and over for year to mid-2024. Every value uses the same ONS country definition and percent. Northern Ireland ranks first at 2.0%, followed by Scotland at 2.0%. Wales records 1.5%, leaving a first-to-second gap of 0.0 pp.
