The four UK countries are compared by renewable electricity generation in 2024. Every value uses the same DESNZ annual electricity workbook and gigawatt-hours. England ranks first at 94,265.6 GWh, ahead of Scotland at 37,897.6 GWh. Northern Ireland records 3,865.3 GWh, while the gap between first and second is 56.4K.

Methodology
The workbook's 2024 values for England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland are selected from statistics 2a — Electricity generated by fuel and ordered from highest to lowest.
