What the Data Shows
China’s 2025 GDP is divided among primary, secondary and tertiary industries. The three official shares sum to 100% and use current-price value added as the common denominator. Tertiary industry was the largest component at 57.7%, followed by secondary industry at 35.6%. The tertiary-industry share exceeded the secondary-industry share by 22.1 percentage points.
