China’s four broad domestic regions are compared by current-price GDP from 2023 through 2025. The grouped comparison contains eastern, central, western and northeastern regions in trillion yuan. The eastern region remained the largest, reaching 73.088 trillion yuan in 2025. Central and western GDP were nearly equal in 2025, separated by only 35.8 billion yuan.

Regional GDP values are taken from the 2023, 2024 and 2025 national communiqués and expressed in trillion yuan.
Each year uses the same official communiqué family, region definitions, current-price valuation basis and billion-yuan source unit.
