Data notes & caveats

The unemployment rate is unemployed people as a share of the labour force, not the working-age population. The graphic highlights eight milestone years for legibility; the public data table retains every annual observation from 2009 through 2025.

Methodology

Uses Eurostat dataset une_rt_a for Cyprus, total sex, ages 15–74, annual unemployment rate.

Source consistency notes

All 17 observations use one Eurostat series, one population basis and one annual definition.
