What the Data Shows
Cyprus’s quarterly unemployment rate fell from 5.0% in Q1 2025 to 4.0% in Q4. The decline was one percentage point, equivalent to a 20% reduction relative to Q1. In Q4 the labour force contained 531,062 people, including 509,773 employed and 21,289 unemployed. The survey covers people living in private households and uses the harmonised EU Labour Force Survey definition.
