What the Data Shows
Part-time employment is ranked across Canada’s 10 provinces for June 2026. The comparison uses seasonally adjusted Labour Force Survey estimates in thousand persons. Ontario ranked first at 1,421.4 thousand, 522.2 thousand ahead of Quebec. Newfoundland and Labrador was ninth at 36.6 thousand, making Ontario 38.8 times as large.
