Data notes & caveats
This page covers Super Bowl-era championships only and does not add pre-Super Bowl NFL or AFL titles. Seattle’s 2026 victory and New England’s appearance are included in the final totals.
Methodology
The ranking counts Super Bowl victories by current franchise lineage through Super Bowl LX. Historical city and name changes remain with the same franchise, ties receive joint ranks, and every franchise with at least two titles is included.
Source consistency notes
Championships and appearances use the NFL’s complete Super Bowl history, with the Super Bowl LX result applied to both finalist records.
