What the Data Shows

Portugal’s enterprises are divided into small and medium-sized enterprises and large enterprises for 2023. The two mutually exclusive groups reconcile to 1,526,926 enterprises. Small and medium-sized enterprises account for 1,525,304 enterprises, or 99.894% of the total. Large enterprises number 1,622, representing 0.106%.
