This composition shows why people reported migrating within or to Pakistan in the 2023 census. The six reason categories reconcile exactly to 13,081,323 migrants. With family was the largest reason at 43.3%, ahead of job or business at 19.8%. Returned home was the smallest category at 0.4%.
