Gross domestic product at current market prices and exchange rates; current US$, 2024 and 2025.

What the Data Shows

Russia’s nominal GDP is compared between 2024 and 2025 in current U.S. dollars. The values use market prices and market exchange rates rather than a constant-price or purchasing-power-parity basis. Nominal GDP rises from US$2.19 trillion to US$2.56 trillion, an increase of US$374.8 billion. The increase is 17.1%, but it combines changes in real output, domestic prices and the exchange rate.

Data notes & caveats

Current US$ means nominal GDP valued at current market prices and converted at market exchange rates. The change should not be interpreted as real GDP growth or a pure change in domestic output.

Methodology

The two World Bank WDI observations for the corresponding World Bank WDI series are retained in current U.S. dollars. The absolute change is the 2025 value minus the 2024 value, and the relative change divides that difference by the 2024 value.

Source consistency notes

Both endpoints use one World Bank source family, the same metric definition and the same unit basis.
