United States employer businesses were compared by industry during the Census BTOS AI supplement period from November 2025 to February 2026. The ranking uses the top five industry rates in the Census analysis, with firms in each industry as the denominator and the all-firm rate as a reference. Information led at 38%, compared with an all-firm rate of 18%. The top-five industry average was 31.4%, or 1.74 times the all-firm rate.
